California CASA is excited to host our annual ED/CEO conference at the new Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento hotel on September 20th and 21st. This event will bring the California programs together for networking, professional development, and more information about the state funding disbursement. After meeting virtually for the past several years, we look forward to seeing you in person.

ED/CEO Conference Keynote Speaker: Lacy Alana
About Lacy Alana:
Lacy is psychotherapist, trainer, and multi-disciplinary artist who specializes in interpersonal neurobiology, trauma, autism, and communication science.
As Lacy spent time in the clinical, educational, corporate, and expressive arts world over the last decade and a half, she recognized that she was having great success blending facets from each discipline into the others.
When colleagues asked her to teach them tools to mimic her work, she founded Yes And Brain to provide trainings in the corporate, non-profit, and arts worlds. (www.yesandbrain.com)
Lacy has a varied professional history, including working in the corporate world (with a business/advertising degree), working in residential treatment with youth in foster care, working with youth who were adopted out of foster care and their families , working as a family therapist in a homeless shelter, providing corporate trainings and keynotes, running specialized circus and improv theatre programs for neurodivergent and marginalized youth, training helping and medical professionals, working as a psychotherapist specialized in trauma and autism - and more.
Lacy provides one-of-a-kind trainings that fuse Interpersonal Neurobiology (the relational neurosciences and nervous system knowledge), therapeutic frameworks, applied improvisation, business communication, and pedagogy from improvisational theatre and the circus arts. Read more here
